John Dempcy - Artist Statement

Natural forces are at play as drops of paint burst with color and subtle washes play over the surface revealing the intrinsic character of the paint. Out of the viscous medium arise organic forms that carve and shape a distinct topography. Systematically painted, the resulting serial pattern balances between chaos and order ultimately coalescing into an integrated whole.
